Expanded Services Announced Following January Floods
The city of San Diego and San Diego County are joining forces to help residents impacted by January’s devastating floods. City Clerk Diana Fuentes and County Clerk Andrew Potter unveiled plans to extend passport replacement services through March 29th.
“We recognize how difficult it is for our community members who lost vital documents in the floods,” said Fuentes. “Replacing passports is crucial for travel and identification purposes. Our offices aim to streamline this process during an already stressful time.”

Flood survivors are encouraged to review the U.S. Department of State’s disaster passport replacement webpage. This resource outlines eligibility requirements and necessary documentation.
“Dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster is overwhelming,” Potter stated. “By partnering with the city, we can provide convenient locations for residents to replace these essential travel documents.”
Convenient Locations and Language Assistance
Both the city and county clerk’s offices will offer extended hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Spanish language assistance ensures accessibility for all affected individuals.
No appointments are required at either location:
